Independent conservator

Elsbeth Geldhof is an independent historic paint conservator, and researcher of longue durée painting techniques and pigment sources from the ancient world and beyond. In this work, she frequently applies experimental archaeology and reconstruction techniques to add an art-technological approach and craftsmanship perspective. Elsbeth also manages her own business Bluetortoise Conservation.
